There's something about the use of black and white imagery that is very rewarding. I have taken the calm and relaxing image of the stunning beach at Byron Bay and through black and white you some how get a much deeper and stronger image. Here the waves break on rocks on the edge of the main beach as the pacific ocean meets Australia. Here I shot with a high shutter speed to catch the waves in motion as they broke so dramatically on the rocks before me.
