The Beach and Pier in Llandudno, North Wales near Conwy. This black and white image shows the interesting shapes and textures to be found in this historic Victorian holiday resort on the North Wales coast. Just before spring I decided I wanted to try and capture the beaches of the holiday resorts of North Wales shown here having survived the dark winter months and ready for a new summer.

Llandudno had had good reports and so off I went. I spent the day wondering around the beach, town and pier and this was one of the best images I managed to get. The post allows a focal point to this otherwise fairly bleak and open beach, with only a few passers by in the distance and only a couple of Heron Gulls for company.
