This photograph is one of the most appealing countryside images you can get. We have a classic sandstone church complete with lush green gardens, high trees and a well kept church. The church itself takes on the classic Anglican design with tall spire, tall leaded windows and a very carefully looked after church yard hidden away on a lane in an English country village.

This is a building I know well as it is located near to where I live, it is hidden from the world down a few country lanes and was somewhere I had over looked, as you often do with places close to home. Inspired by an article I read telling photographers to simply go for a walk from there house and photograph everything the came across I came up with this image.

This traditional place of worship where many keep their faith with the Christian religion under the Anglican denomination often host weddings, baptisms and other ceremonies. This ecclesiastical historical building is several hundred years old and is still the centre of the village where services are held every Sunday for its congregation. This religious building is often seen as symbolic of the old ways of life now lost from this country struggling with modernity.
