This is such a warm and calming image that it has to be my favourite autumn photograph. There is such a wealth of strong but soft colours including deep yellows and oranges thanks to the fantastic display nature gives us during the changing of the seasons.

The photo was taken in my local park in Shrewsbury and what I love about this scene is the way the well kept trees on either side of the path guide us effortlessly down to the river Severn in the distance.
