The Eiffel Tower gardens, the tower is a subject that has been photographed again and again so I knew I had to come up with something a little different. The Eiffel Tower gardens, the tower is a subject that has been photographed again and again so I knew I had to come up with something a little different. I have selected this shot as when we first look at the photo the beautiful gardens in the foreground appear to be the subject but when we look a little closer we can see the image is framed by the Eiffel Tower and we immediately know we are in Paris.

I used infra-red filters and my black and white photography skills to highlight the character and detail that makes up this famous structure. This effect has given the image much more depth than you would normal see and it allows you to view the great symbol of France in a whole new light.
