The Red Sea is renowned for its beauty, recently I travelled to Taba Heights in Egypt where I photographed this natural wonder. I spent my early years growing up in the desert which has given me a great understanding for the power of this landscape. The starkness of the empty land with its tall mountains and sharp rocks against the beauty of the Red Sea has given me the ability to create some stunning images.
In the early evening just as the sunsets the mountains that surround the Red Sea are bathed in a tremendous red and purple light. This incredible natural wonder is where the Red Sea gets its name and is a fantastic sight to behold. I have captured this process in these images of the desert of the Sinai as it meets the Red Sea from Egypt.
